How Should You Take DR. HEILBRONNER Rhodiola Capsules?
Recommended intake: take one capsule daily in the morning, 30 minutes before breakfast, with plenty of liquid.
It is recommended that you avoid taking Rhodiola rosea late in the evening to minimise sleep problems, as it can have an energising effect.
Does Rhodiola Extract Have Side Effects?
Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is generally considered safe and has few or no side effects when taken in appropriate doses. However, it is recommended that you discuss taking rhodiola with a qualified professional, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or take medication. Possible side effects that may occur in rare cases include:
Insomnia: as rhodiola can be energising, it is best taken in the morning to avoid insomnia.
Stomach discomfort: some people report mild stomach discomfort, such as nausea or indigestion, after taking rhodiola. This can be avoided by taking it with a meal.
Allergic reactions: an allergic reaction to rhodiola is possible, particularly if you already have allergies to other plants. If this happens, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor.
