Astastix - Cocoa & Astaxanthin

For thousands of years, cocoa has been used as both a pleasure and a healing agent. The Aztecs prepared a special drink called Xocóatl from cocoa bean powder, water, and spicy seasonings. This beverage was also referred to as the “drink of the gods.”

Our Astastix are made from 70 % pure cocoa, chicory root (inulin), and 4 mg astaxanthin. The natural cocoa, after fermentation, contains 54 % natural cocoa butter with minerals, vitamins (B-A-E), polyphenols, 36 % prebiotic fiber, and healthy unsaturated fatty acids.

The naturally sweet taste comes from the chicory root fiber, without any added sugar or sweeteners. Cocoa beans contain over 300 nutrients, especially minerals – magnesium, potassium, calcium, and iron – along with many polyphenols and proteins.

Astaxanthin is the strongest natural antioxidant from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis and is produced in organic quality under highly pure conditions with natural spring water. Combined with cocoa, it becomes highly bioavailable. We recommend one Astastix per day containing 4 mg of astaxanthin.

Chicory root fibers are a natural sweetener that also functions as dietary fiber and, due to their high inulin content, have prebiotic properties. This makes Astastix especially rich in fiber and easy to digest. Ideal for a healthy and balanced diet in everyday life.

Astastix contain no added sugar, palm oil, gluten, or other declarable allergens. Instead, they impress with natural ingredients and the highest quality. The convenient portion sticks fit in any bag and are perfect for a quick energy boost. Whether during sports, at the office, or while traveling – Astastix are the ideal companion for anyone who wants to eat consciously and enjoyably. The flavor of Astastix lingers in the mouth for up to fifteen minutes.

The Power Combination: Cocoa, Astaxanthin, and Chicory Root Fiber

Cocoa has long been a hidden gem for athletes: it accelerates recovery after training more effectively than many conventional sports drinks. Thanks to its antioxidant flavonoids, cocoa also supports the cardiovascular system and can help prevent muscle cramps by stabilizing lactic acid levels and reducing lactate.

Organic Astaxanthin – the Super Antioxidant

Astaxanthin, a carotenoid from microalgae, is known for its outstanding antioxidant effects. It reduces oxidative stress caused by intense training, protecting cells from damage. Studies show that astaxanthin can improve endurance performance and reduce muscle inflammation – making it an ideal complement to cocoa.

Chicory Root Fiber – for Gut and Metabolism

Chicory root fiber, rich in inulin, is a natural prebiotic fiber source that supports gut health. It promotes the growth of healthy gut bacteria, stabilizes blood sugar levels, and improves nutrient absorption. Especially in combination with cocoa, it ensures sustainable energy supply and enhances overall well-being.
