How is astaxanthin produced?
DR. HEILBRONNER Bio Astaxanthin is obtained from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis and pure spring water. These microalgae produce astaxanthin to protect their genetic material and organelles from UV light during periods of drought.
What is special about the production of astaxanthin by Dr. Heilbronner?
The production of DR. HEILBRONNER BIO Astaxanthin is produced under laboratory conditions in photobioreactors using spring water from our own deep wells. The CO₂ extraction process of our astaxanthin guarantees the quality of the active ingredient. Our food supplement capsules are vegan and suitable for vegetarian diets.

Of all the studies on astaxanthin, there are no known side effects from consuming it in food supplements.

How should you take astaxanthin capsules?
Recommended intake: one capsule every 2nd day with food.
Astaxanthin during pregnancy or in case of pre-existing conditions.

Capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose.
