How is astaxanthin produced?

DR. HEILBRONNER Bio Astaxanthin is extracted from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis and pure spring water. These microalgae produce astaxanthin as cell protection to protect their genetic material and organelles from UV light in case of dry periods.

What is special about the production of astaxanthin by Dr. Heilbronner?

The production of DR. HEILBRONNER BIO Astaxanthin is carried out under laboratory conditions in photobioreactors using spring water from our own deep wells. The CO₂-extraction process of our astaxanthin ensures the quality of the active ingredient. Our dietary supplement capsules are vegan and suitable for vegetarian diets.
